Medical Director, UnitedHealthcare of Colorado
Dr. Cara Beatty is the market medical director for UnitedHealthcare in Colorado. Prior to joining UnitedHealthcare, Dr. Beatty worked for Kaiser Permanente in a number of roles including operations chief at clinics and senior director of member experience. Dr. Beatty practiced medicine in both Minnesota and Canada and was responsible for the early implementation of population management and data and strategy for a large multispecialty group. Dr. Beatty was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary, and her Medical Degree from the University of Alberta. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Calgary.
